Heres my pride and joy. And heres the set up: Ive read a lot of FB posts lately criticizing parents of athletes as over-promoting or pushing their children to win. Both of mine come by their competitive desire to win quite naturally. They want to play and be the best. I also am a tad weary of the posts chastising parents about coaches-- there are some great coaches out there and then some not so great ones. What a valuable learning experience preparing our kids for the working world. Heres Wesleigh being interviewed this week and explaining that when a larger/taller/bigger freshman may start over her, its about team-- not about Wesleigh. Proud of that girl. Yep, Ill over-promote and push the heck out of that!
