Heres my transformation Tuesday (its long...but worth it) For as long as I can remember I have been absolutely terrified of spiders. I didnt just dislike them. They didnt just scare me. They literally stopped me in my tracks. If I saw one I would freeze in terror, get sick to my stomach, and cry. Pictures of spiders did the same thing. As did spiders on TV or in movies. Going to see The Amazing Spider-Man was a serious waste of money. I sat through the whole movie with my eyes closed. My fear truly interfered with my life. I spent at least 5 minutes every night checking my ceiling and walls for spiders before I felt comfortable going to sleep. But as horrible as that was, I never wanted to get over my fear because I couldnt imagine ever NOT being scared of them. And then God changed my life and I realized I have absolutely nothing to fear. (For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. -Isaiah 41:13) So I gave my fear to Him. And guess what? He took it. I didnt go through therapy. I didnt take time to warm up to spiders. I just prayed. And then went and held a tarantula. Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken. -Psalm 55:22 ❤️
