Heres one for you. My best friend has a son who was diagnosed with autism at age 4, hes now 9. He has all the classic signs-toe walking, hand flapping, lack of eye contact, non-verbal, gut issues, tactile sensory issues, etc. She went in for a check up with her pediatrician yesterday. He primarily specializes in children with autism. Most of his practice is children who fall on the spectrum. So, get this, he said she was quite lucky because he recently attended a convention on diagnostic criteria for autism. He said they learned that theyve been diagnosing it wrong for over a decade. He was changing her sons diagnosis to Social Learning Conduct Disorder and recommending him for therapy under that diagnosis. She was speechless and wasnt prepared to be told her severely autistic son had a social learning disorder. He told her he hoped this would make her feel more comfortable and she would resume vaccines again since he was grossly under protected after she stopped vax at 2 years old. He gave her a letter describing the disorder and that he hopes the other parents he works with see that vaccines do not cause Autism. Anyway else heard this yet? What a convenient way to drop the numbers for Autism in the coming months/years. Reminiscent of Polio, no?
