Heres our MONDAY MOTIVATION: Three years back I reluctantly told you how I was struggling to support 6 children, including a brilliant girl I met who was at the risk of missing high school education. For this girl, I sought your support of 500 shillings (or whatever anyone would). Many pledged their help but only a number paid up. I did the same last year, the responses were lower (as most of us have been struggling financially). What God had placed into my heart was that He wanted to use the commons to touch the life of this girl, especially those who wish to use the little they have to impact on a stranger. God came near. I got 10K from a commoner Europe and 6K from a friend in US, and the rest from my Kenyan based friends and fans, sending me 500 bob, 1K, 2K and even 5K! I have accounted for the previous sums and will continue to update the sponsors accordingly. Here is the miracle; our girl is now going to her final year of high school. She has kept excellent grades in her not so well known school, in top 5 but for the last terms, and we have been trying to assist, and have mentors for her. I am also hoping to meet with those who have been supporting, for us to plan on what next, and who next. We may not have the financial muscles of Wings to Fly but one day we shall cover a forgotten worthy child in all the 47 counties in Kenya - at the risk of missing school.
