Heres some basics but solid information on this video. Remember; 1. Always be flexible and change your style/rythem to get bite according to condition. 2. While we always get bite on the drop, it means we are drawing their attention on the up stroke and the drop seals the deal. 3. We dont always get straight down line angle. We could use rod angle and cranking speed to impart more action to compensate for line belly (see #1). 4. In shallow water Machine Gun jerk is the number 1 technique in getting bites. 5. All of these and how-to videos mean nothing if you are not the first one drifting over a fresh spot. :D Especially when the fish are aggressive. Tight lines!
