Heres something pretty funny. I was reviewing the Lasser 2015 financial contributions that were made to his special election campaign for the State Rep seat. Youd think the leading politicians in the area would step up to the plate to help Lasser in what is expected to be a close race. So, what did Bethels First Selectman and his wife donate to Lassers campaign? $500? $250? $100? $50? $25? None of the above. Matt Knickerbocker and his wife contributed FIVE DOLLARS EACH. Its fun to spend other peoples money but when it comes to their own, they showed their true colors.
