Mr. Greg Gaskins, Director of Food and Beverage Special Projects, SMG/SAVOR, United States 2012 – Present Responsible for quality and assurance for food and beverage operations in SMG run facilities. In this role, Mr. Gaskins directly oversaw the construction and food and beverage startup of the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln Nebraska. PBA is a 15,000 seat multi- purpose arena opened in September of 2013. Corporate Responsibilities: Food and Beverage consultant on company RFP bid proposals. Development and designer of new building facilities. Hiring executive and operation managers for units in the mid-west region. Proven ability to manage management and staff to exceed plan goals and areas of manager’s responsibility and controls. Securing accurate mid/end of month fiscal information for projections and Flash Reports. Analyzing product inventory data to make assessments to assist Regional Vice Presidents and Regional General Managers in month-end reviews Projecting and Forecasting sales and budget figures for upcoming year for the department. Creating and obtaining goals and cost set forth by my Regional Vice Presidents and Regional General Managers. TDY on special projects, new buildings, short term events and troubleshooting underperforming location. Currently I have the following accounts in my portfolio: Laredo Energy Arena, Sands Event Center, Cambria War Memorial Arena, Pinewood Bowl Arena, and Moscone Convention Center. Special Projects Long Beach Grand Prix (F&B Director) Special Projects Sands Event Center, Bethlehem, PA Long Beach Grand Prix, Long Beach, CA Pinnacle Bank Arena (Startup), Lincoln NE Pinewood Bowl Amp theater, Lincoln, NE Laredo Energy Arena, Laredo Texas Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco, CA Cambria War Memorial, Johnstown, PA Prior to working for SMG Mr. Gaskins worked as Director of F&B for Delaware North Company, Target Field, Progressive Field and at the Lodge and Conference Center at Geneva on the Lake. He has taught classes at Kent State and worked at as a GM/DM for Rascal House Café ($4.4 million in sales in 2006); Club House Manager at Kingwood Resort and Country Club; GM for Nav-a-gator Bar and Grille at Desoto Marina and as a teacher for Desoto County School Systems.
