Heres the deal on immigration reform. Republicans dont want to do it because it will anger their base but they dont want to vote against it because it may anger Latinos. Democrats want it because they see Latinos as their future base but dont want vote on it and anger more conservative white voters. President Obama cant seek reelection so he can afford to do something and it appears he finally understands the political reality of the issue for both parties.
