Heres the latest addition towards my camping travels, bought the one-wheel trailer around 6 months or more ago from a metal fabricator who built it for himself but only travelled around 500km! Modified the R1200GS tow bar and drawbar to fit my bike, made the kick up centre/front stand to keep the front off the ground when off the bike and it was ready. I always loved the concept and dynamics of a one-wheeler after seeing a Uni-Go many years ago in the late 90s. After the big trip to Tassie I thought itd be nice to take all the weight off the bike on my next trip. Took it for a test run to Byron Bay a few months ago. It worked well but highlighted the inadequacies of the worn springs and steering head bearings of the Guzzis front end! But it gobbled up my normal gear + more with plenty of space left over as expected. Im going to make little roof racks for it so I can take 2 x telescopic alloy tarp poles and most importantly a couple of my larger fishing rods. Cant wait for the next trip to wherever.
