Heres the music that accompanied a recent video I posted. Wonderful! The more so for being so beautiful out in the Cornish sunshine with its accompanying breezes and airplanes and away from studio tricks and sweetening. This music reaches the soul of the Cornish, and brings out the Celtic roots of this ancient people. I hope that hearing this song of hope and heartbreak (the sheer beauty of it made me well up a bit) will encourage you to look into the music of these fine artists and of other great Cornish musicians. Too often the music of Cornwall is marginalized (at least here in the USA) out of sheer ignorance, and not recognized as Celtic in that it doesnt often resemble Irish Jigs and Reels. Anyone listening to this will hear the Celtic soul of Cornwall, tempered in the deeps of the mines and baked in the sun of the sea.
