Heres the recipe for my dirt cake adapted for what ingredients I can get in japan. Actually it turned out really well. More Carmely tasting and less sweet. Makes four cups of dirt cake. (Enough for 20 small servings in japan) 1 tube of cream cheese 3 Purin cups 1 cup of powdered sugar 2 small containers of choc wafer cookies (like Oreos) 1. Twist the choc wafer cookies apart and scrape out the white creamy part. Put the chocolate wafers in a plastic bag and use a rolling pin to crush them into a fine powder. 2. Soften the cream cheese by bringing it to room temperature. Then very slowly add the purin little by little and mix it into the cream cheese. You can use a mixer but add it very slowly otherwise the cream cheese will just get clumpy. 3. Add the powdered sugar into the cream cheese and Purin mix. 4. Mix one half of the crushed cookies into the mixture. Then pour this mixture into the bottom of a medium size glass bowl. Refrigerate overnight. 5. The next day sprinkle the remaining crushed cookies over the top of the The creamy mixture in the bowl. Then decorate with Halloween type decorations. I found some little pumpkin candles and a little ghost chocolate candy thing and used it on top of my dirt cake. I also added some strips of dried mango to look like worms. And I made little gravestones out of wafer cookies and wrote RIP and BOO on them with chocolate frosting.
