Heres the thing: Godwins Law states that as an online argument grows longer and more heated, it becomes increasingly likely that somebody will bring up Adolf Hitler or the Nazis. When such an event occurs, the person guilty of invoking Godwins Law has effectively forfieted the argument. Dear Mr. Godwin, Have you looked around lately? The US, UK, and Australian governments are owned and controlled by transnational corporations. Classically, fascism is defined as a tyrannical form of government that is a blend of private corporate interest and state authority. I didnt invent the word or the definition. But you, sir, have armed a sea of brain dead, taint chaffing, right wing ass-hats and lost, blind, abandoned left wing apologist loyalists who smugly deny that we are living in a fascist police state by referencing your glib and oh-so-handy one-size-fits-all put down.
