Heres the thing about me when it comes to writing....Im just a mom with a keyboard and I write what hits me and hits me hard. I write for fun, I write to fill a void and the stories are published when they are done. I have three in my head right now but Property Of is winning out over Slo Ride so Dallas Vaughn and Nicola Royces story is next. Its a thriller in the sense that its a murder mystery. That being said I cant write anything that isnt laced with humor because its how I cope in this big bad world. As a defense mechanism to protect myself I find humor in all things no matter how awful they are. Its just how I roll. I tried being serious in Restoring Hope it was an experiment of sorts and I failed. Im embracing my funny bone, and unless it breaks, you can pretty much expect humor laced books from me. Ive tried three different variations of books this past year and enjoyed them all. But Max and Mias was my favorite to write because Im just a big kid at heart and live my life laughing at everything that I can. Im 52 this month and drive my family crazy. I have no intentions of ever growing up and my grand kids, when I have them (gulp), will probably wonder why their parents are more mature than me...Basically I was Martha in A Reason to Kill. So dont expect serious from me dont expect reality from me, I write to escape it so dont want to read it. We all have enough of it in our day to day lives. Ill let you know when Property Of is done and I will announce the release date here. Im humbled more than you know that you all follow this old woman and Im grateful beyond words that you read my stories. As long as Im having fun Ill continue to write these books. I said when I published ARTB that Id take this publishing thing one book at a time. Thank you so much for your love and encouragement this last year, its been one of the best years of my life!
