Heres the update on Mia. First let me say we are taking her home to keep her comfortable. We will have her on 2 pain meds 4 times a day. We will make a decision based on how she does on Oct 25th. Her lower leg bones are being eaten by something & are completely hollow. It is progressing to the hips. She has spots in her lungs & her heart is not doing well.. Nothing medically can be done to help her so its wait & see if she can have a decent rest of her life on pain meds. We dont want her to suffer so we will give this a fair shot before making any decisions. For tonight please no phone calls. Were assuming she has leukemia but because the Dr said there is nothing we can do, we chose to forego the blood work. She actually told us we can take her to any high end vet out of town & well be told the same thing so were taking her home now & will pray for the best. Mandi Eisenbeis
