Heres the way I see it. At my company, we are guided by well-defined cultural values and business philosophy. One of those is Dont keep scorecards. Now, if there are irregularities in the vote, the outcome must be corrected and I support full prosecution under the law. And I support an investigation to fully validate a legal vote. But if no irregularities are discovered, I am ready to move on and return to the cause of solving the nations problems. Our childrens, childrens children are relying on us. Now, thats just me. I have no issue with any of my fellow McDaniel supporters in their harsh reaction. None. And you are justified. And I have enjoyed getting to know you and believe we will build on this race and make a difference. I am concerned and I do believe that it is pretentious for Cochran supporters to call McDaniel supporters racists, extremists and lots of other slants on one day and fully expect them to fall in line behind the nominee the next. Its the exclusion of ordinary citizens in the governing process that has concerned me the most - until votes are needed. I believe that is the precise attitude that necessitated the Cochran camp to seek and secure Democrat support, through incongruous means - without practical and honorable limitations - in order to win, that will make it difficult for the senator to win in November and what has setback the party dozens of years.
