Heres what I know. There are no victims, just volunteers. (Tx Val!) I believe that every situation faced at this or any moment, results from our own choices. I have come to believe that what we focus on focuses on us sooner or later. Some live lives full of drama, sacrifice and unhappiness. Others live lives full of calm, joy and even compromise. Still others live lives which are a combination of all of these or others. The bottom line is where your life is headed is reliant upon how you live it and what terms you will accept. Whether a martyr or milquetoast, it is a choice. And it is yours. Things will not always be all sunshine and light however you are empowered to find something positive in the situation nonetheless. If something makes you truly unhappy, you can choose to walk under that cloud, or choose to change the thing which is causing you angst. It is not easy to change your perspective but even if you change a little at a time you will eventually find yourself less focused on the negative. When that happens you find those baby steps will take you down a much happier path. You are empowered to live your life based on the choices you make.
