Heres why I think women are sensitive about catcalling. Now I dont mind if you say hi to me or tell me I look good (because duh, I do) but sometimes it starts as catcalling and gets worse. Im thinking about the time when I was 20 and ignored a group of guys in Scream masks who were calling out to me. They chased me down the street. A Thai restaurant owner took me in to hide. A couple dudes came in and screamed at me before running out. That kind of thing is pretty normal when youre a girl. They dont usually wear masks, but people will grab you or follow you and its scary as hell.
