All the best! Lester 1. THE JESTER ( Mechanik Records | USA / Mexico ) The older and longest standing project is “The Jester”. Spinning since 2004. As “The Jester” I play a selection of mainly fullon and psychedelic trance. Most of the material I play comes from colleagues and friends from record labels overseas in the States and Europe. Currently I am signed to label giant, Mechanik Records, based in San Diego, California. The label releases artists such as Lost & Found, Outer Signal, Digital Talk and Abomination to name a few. INJEST ( UltraNoize | South Africa ) I have always had a very special place for Progressive music in my heart. With all the years I had been spinning vinyl and CD’s, I had never really taken on DJing Progressive trance as I was and always had been viewed as a specifically night time artist. It was difficult to show the local psy community that I was more eclectic, at least under the banner of “JESTER”, and so “INJEST” was born! Running solidly for just over a year now, Injest has been blowing up dancefloors with a variety in Minimal and Phat Israeli Style Progressive Trance. DJ JIBBA ( Independent ) The younger of my projects, DJ Jibba was created recently to, simply put, promote TECHNO. Techno & Deep house are another massive love of mine. Always been a fan, and the story of Jibba’s creation runs in paralled with that of the “Injest” story. Basically I needed to create a platform where I could spin techno as a separate entity to my other “trance” projects. Artists that I like to play are Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, Matador, Sam Pagnini and so on. UP-PSY-DOWN ( PsynOpticz | UltraNoize ) A back to back, DJ battle Project run together with my friend, Kevin. Together we bring a Bizzare energy to the dancefloor. I’ll be truthfully honest, I still don’t know exactly what the magic ingredient is, all I can tell you is that when Lester & Kevin get together to mix beats… A certain fire is started, and the only way to extinguish it is to dance like no one is watching you! We like to promote a more fullon daytime power trance style. Psychedelic, no cheese and a little something special are the 3 main elements in this project.
