Here’s a cell phone video of Roseville Animal Control Officer - TopicsExpress

Here’s a cell phone video of Roseville Animal Control Officer John Bennett lassoing a feisty 4-foot long crocodile and putting it in a temporary transport cage. The croc was found on the loose in the TJ Maxx Plaza on Douglas Boulevard in Roseville on the morning of April 9. Someone had left it inside a flimsy plastic bin beside the door of a reptile store with a note that said it was a Nile crocodile, and to contact rescue. The croc got out of the bin and went for a stroll, prompting calls to police. After capturing it, ACO Bennett turned it over to California Fish and Wildlife staff. They said it likely is a Nile crocodile (which can grow to 20 feet), and that it had a lot of broken teeth, probably from being confined in a metal cage. They’re looking for a zoo or other educational organization to take the croc.
