Here’s is my review on “Live From The Armory” podcast hosted by Buckhouse Bob and Lora Lyons. The show is a weekly podcast that has the main focus of independent wrestling. The guest on this show was Joshua Cutshall and Mary Elizabeth Monroe. Here’s a list of PROS and CONS. CONS: -Lora laughs a little too much (at pretty much everything) -Buckhouse Bob at some points tries to play the “heel” commentator -It’s not a fluid conversation (at some points, Bob leads in with “Lora tell them about”) -The show is too long (2 hours is too long for any podcast in my opinion) -The audio quality is decent but not what I was expecting -Too many references to Lora’s personal favorites PROS: -It’s nice to hear a women’s opinion on wrestling (and especially one that doesn’t make women look stupid - - - thank you Lora) -Live call-in line and they take live calls during the show (this is awesome) -Show has a good format and they stuck to it -Both hosts had good follow up questions to their guests -They didn’t mention WWE & TNA too much (very little references) Overall, I would suggest this podcast to other wrestling fans. They did an outstanding job of keeping my attention and making me laugh. Keep up the good work and I’ll be listening! On a sidenote, why does Joshua Cutshall actually say the hashtag when he is talking? Hashtag Real? Seriously? I just thought that it was kinda weird.
