Hermoney update: its been an exhausting emotional couple of days for both of us, but Im happy to report some good news :) As of yesterday, she was rather weak, took her meds with only a little protest, and I had to give her water in a syringe...but she showed improvement during her exercise...actually started stretching out her limb a little with me. Our final exercise of the evening, she was actually purring. As of this morning, she got out bed on her own (dont know if she face-planted or not but she did not call out)...she went to her food bowl & ate a healthy amount, then drank a ton of water...then she used the litter box for the first time since Friday. She also didnt need any pain meds for 12 hrs. After an hour I was sure they had kicked in, we had a cuddle session in which I massaged all of her extremities...ending with the lame limb. She let me know when it was hurting, but continued to work with me...stretching with me, pulling back on her own & even stretched 3 of her toes on her own. Im very happy to say my girl is healing from the clot & will regain at least some function in that front limb which will make her quality of life better than just 2 days ago. She has also been visited by Winnie twice today & got some kitten kisses :) We cuddled a good while after her exercises & she is resting comfortably. Thanks for all the prayers, keep them coming, they are working!
