Heroes is going the way of Arrested Development, returning to the small screen years after its cancellation. A spokesperson for NBC says the cult sci-fi series is returning to the network in a 2015 miniseries called Heroes Reborn, produced by the show’s creator, Tim Kring. “The enormous impact Heroes had on the television landscape when it first launched in 2006 was eye-opening. Shows with that kind of resonance don’t come around often and we thought it was time for another installment,” said NBC’s Jennifer Salke. Heroes first aired on NBC from 2006 to 2010, garnering critical praise in its first season before losing steam in subsequent seasons. Will out actor Zachary Quinto, a.k.a. homicidal villain Sylar, appear in the new miniseries? Or how about fan favorites like Hayden Panettiere, Ali Larter and Milo Ventimiglia? “Until we get closer to air in 2015, the show will be appropriately shrouded in secrecy,” says Salke. “But we won’t rule out the possibility of some of the show’s original cast members popping back in.” Tags:heroes|heroes reborn|nbc|Zachary Quinto The post “Heroes” Returning To NBC In 2015.
