Hes baaaaack!!! That didnt last long. Jamaal Charles and the Kansas City Chiefs have reached an agreement on a new contract. Jamaal Charles and the Chiefs have struck a deal, he’s heading to camp now! Let me be the first say ... WHEW! Word came down on Tuesday night that Jamaal Charles was going to hold out from training camp barring a new deal. The Chiefs veterans reported for training camp on Wednesday Jamaal was no where to be seen, which made it appear he was a holdout. Charles had two years remaining on his previous deal, which was signed in 2010. He was set to make just under $10 million over the next two seasons. A good comparison for Jamaal is LeSean McCoy, who makes an average of $9 million per year.The next step will be examining the numbers in Jamaals new deal but the big picture here is that he is back with the Chiefs. All is well again.
