Hes baaack!! 8 weeks ago today, he snapped his collar bone in half and this determined boy of mine was back on the race track today! I must admit this one was a little harder to watch, but I am so proud of him. He had us worried that 8 weeks was too soon to ride, but after I asked him to write a 500 word essay on how long bones actually take to mend, and he delivered, he was back on his bike. He has been working out to get back into race mode for a few weeks now. At todays race he got the hole shot, but then got into a gnarly (thats for you Brian Hoskin) crash, watched guys pass and ended up in 12th place after the first lap. He only had two more laps to go and he caught back up to 7th place. We are so proud of the hard work he has done to get back on the track so soon, he is one focused and determined kid!! Love you, son! ☼
