Hey All, I have Justins (or is it Kellys) goss here redoing its Green, I asked him to order a stripe/decal kit for it, the one he supplied was from First Stripes a eBay seller, he advertises his items are cut to size & a quality product,, Well,, When applying a stripe or decal I spray a soapy water on so if you put it in the wrong spot youve got a play time with it & itll lift back off with ease,, With his I pulled the stripe back up,It lifted up easy enough & then snapped in the space between my hand & the panel, This happened whilst the top white protective paper was still ON the face of the stripe, Ive pinstriped Id have too say upto maybe 500 cars over the past 25 years, First time this has ever happened,, The stripes come cut to size for the guard, door & quarter , As you all know the front guards & doors have a Curving Contour in the stripe, His stripes are cut straight, Being cut to size straight is exactly what you get, There was about 10 mm either end of the stripe once applyed,They have no give or play whilst applying it, As for trying to get the contour on the guard to the door & then onto the quarter is near impossible with out any over hang, This stripe comes with a white paper on it with over hang over the edge of the stripe which makes following a line, Well ya cant , Im not saying his product is shit & I may of stuffed up, But the only pin stripe Ive ever snapped without reason is his & if he made each stripe a 100mm longer & trimmed to the stripe edge his product would be more user friendly,,For a cost of over $300,, I Recommend Not !!
