Hey Dems, Get out there and do payback, Obstruct the Republicans like they did to Dems/ From the very beginning, the moment Barack Obama became President, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner and a few of the others vowed to obstruct everything he proposed and they did and it worked. A lot of much needed legislation that would have stimulated the economy didnt get passed because of Republican obstructionism and who took the blame for it Obama of course when it fact it was the fault of the GOP who wouldnt pass these bills because they dislike Obama so much. This dislike took precedence over the welfare of the American people. What to do? I hope wimpy Democrats get some muscle and not vote for any odious right-wing proposals, and no bailing out of Republican leadership if their Tea Party base insists on pushing them off a cliff. To hell with McConnells threats, President should veto repealing Obamacare that has insured millions of Americans who were formerly uninsured, approving the Keystone XL pipeline which does not provide secure, permanent positions and privatizing SS or Medicare. President Obama take executive action and sign immigration reform to stop the deportation and provide a pathway to citizenship. When the going gets tough, the tough get going and achieve their agenda despite obstacles and hardships in their way. I hope Obama follows the path of Harry Truman, who in 1946, when Republicans took both houses, rather than accommodate them, he fought them----and in 1948 campaigned against the do-nothing Congress. He was re-elected and Democratics regained their majorities. Democrats needed more cohesiveness and support the President instead distancing themselves from him.
