Hey Everybody, Stop by Proyecto Jardin today, 2:00-5:00pm and meet our new Volunteer/site Coordinator, Raquel Armenta. Raquel will be working with other Volunteer/Site Coordinators & PJ Community Leadership Council at Proyecto Jardin to strengthen on-site operations and organizing capacity. Her weekly role in the garden includes: 1) WEDNESDAY: Collaborating with the Food Growers Collective and Youth HEAL participants to coordinate collective efforts for Wednesday composting and engage broader community in then garden. 2) THURSDAY: Meet & work with youth in the garden, also 2:00-5:00 to support youth base building and collective action. Stop by today and say HELLO and lend a hand with composting. Please bring fresh veggies scraps, coffee grinds, juicing pulp, used tea bags, YOUR WHOLE HEART and a sweater to keep you warm...its getting chilly these days.
