Hey Everyone, Its so hard to be coming off of such an amazing Shabbaton, where we spoke about empowerment, explored Judaism, and explored our historical and spiritual connection to Israel, only to learn of the terrible recent events in our homeland. But in our moments of sorrow, of pain and of suffering we have two choices. To quote Rav Kook ztl The pure do not curse the darkness, they increase the light. They do not curse the evil, but increase justice. I thought I would add some light, here is a video of people singing at the junction where the three boys were kidnapped and later killed, and where another recent terror attack took place. This is the unity of the Jewish people, as well as the song we sang Saturday night.
