Hey Everyone! We got emails with the information for CHLB. I am just going to paste it here for you guys to read yourselves for ease and clarity. Then I would ask that you comment with time and event you wish to work. Thanks! Hello Parks Youth Ranch Team! As promised I have attached the semi-completed Volunteer Schedule based on your preferences at sign-up for your review. Please take a look and fill in your preference of activity if you havent done so already, and just write me back with that selection. Alternatively you can fill out the form and email it back. If for some reason you cant open the attachment I can send it to you via fax or a copy/paste email. The sections highlighted in blue are the Grace Fellowship managed activities, but you are free to help out with any of the areas that you desire. If you have registered your family or friends and dont need to stay together, please fill free to choose more than one activity per family member. For those of you that did not receive me original email I have included that below and welcome any comments/concerns/questions. Our group is closed, but I will be on the porch following second service if youd like to meet me before CHLB or have questions. As always please join me in prayer for this day! I am SO happy to be having you participate with us for CHLB! Sorry for the delay in my initial email, but I have been working with several vendors trying to nail down our plans so I could provide the most detailed information. I am putting together the volunteer timesheet with the areas that you’ve expressed interest, but for anyone that was “open” there will be several areas where your help will be needed. We will have a regular bounce house along with the following interactive bouncers that will need volunteers including the fishing tournament: · Ultimate Challenge Obstacle Course · Bungee Run/Joust Combo (small group sponsored) · 18” Fire Truck Slide · Slam Dunk We will also be hosting a cotton candy machine and PYR has asked for our assistance in serving lunch. The 3 small groups that will be joining us may also need some assistance and I’ll keep you posted on those opportunities. Along with the bouncers we will also have a DJ, clowns, a face painter, and a balloon artist! Information for the Day Parks Youth Ranch 11614 FM 361 Rd, Richmond, TX 77469 (281) 392-5794 Please plan to dress comfortably and you may want to wear tennis shoes since we will be outside. I will bring bug spray and a First Aid kit, but you may want sunscreen depending on the weather. I will follow-up this email with the finalized volunteer schedule by next weekend and look forward to seeing you all out there! Please join me in prayer prior to our big day in asking God to make a place in the hearts of the kids that we’re going to be encountering, that they would see Him in us and would draw closer to His love and kindness. Some of these kiddos have no idea what a “real” family looks like and we can all serve as a powerful example to them.
