Hey FB Fam! First let me say THANK YOU for all of your concern, good vibes, love, prayers & support! You are greatly appreciated! I know some of you saw Hubbys updates yesterday (hes pretty awesome ;) ), but I wanted to update too for those who may not have seen his. So, here it is......my surgery went well & I came home yesterday, although I did have the option to stay overnight. I only know what Hubby told me after talking to the surgeon. Here it is.....my gallbladder was abnormal & there were adhesions/scar tissue on & around it. Some of it Im sure was the result of a past surgery, but some of it is believed to be the result of chronic gallbladder attacks (symptoms started 3yrs ago), even though I had no gallstones & all of my gallbladder tests were normal. Weird, I know, but then again thats the story of my life when it comes to all things medical. HA! Dr. McCroskey sent my gallbladder off to pathology for evaluation. I will go in for a follow up next week. Hopefully my pathology report will be in when I see him & I will have more answers. SN: I have not had ANY nausea in the last 24 hours & aside from the post op pain & discomfort I have no upper right quad abdominal pain or pressure! YAY!!! :D
