Hey Family & Friends, Jered David is struggling a bit today. He has been off of the breathing tube for 2 1/2 days now, praise The Lord Jesus. It has been a bit of a bumpy road, though. His blood oxygen levels have been consistently dipping pretty low at times, and his chest x-ray is showing what they call white out, which means that there is a lot of secretion building up in his lungs (looks cloudy) which is causing him to struggle with taking oxygen into the blood, and also in getting rid of carbon dioxide properly. So, they are giving him medication to see if it will clear up. Please pray for Jereds lungs to clear up and to have the strength to stay off the breathing tube. Also, today Jereds heart rate has dipped down a few times, they call this a Brady episode. His normal heart rate is 165-185, but when he Bradys, he goes down to 65-70. :( Jereds nurse thinks it could be related to the lung secretions. So, we are concerned because he is already on medication that is helping him not to have SVT heart rate spikes, and now these Brady episodes are the opposite problem. Please pray for Jereds heart to be stable and strong. There really are so many amazing miracles to be thankful for, but today we are also crying out to The Lord for these new struggles.
