Hey! For the student run I think Almost, Maine would be the perfect choice for several reasons: 1. Theres a good amount of parts (4-16; I think we should have as many parts as possible this year because of how small the student run was this year and we dont want to make it so hard for people to get a part which can discourage people from auditioning) 2. All of the characters are leads. -from what I have learned from my experience with Our Town being a lead in a show is one of the best feelings in the world. This way everyone in the show gets that feeling 3. Theres not an exact number of parts - this way we wont have to go through what happened with our town 4. Its funny and sad 5. Its different - snoopy is a sequel to Charlie Brown which is a show we have already done. We havent done anything like almost maine before 6. Easy set and lighting 7. Easy costuming 8. Good balance between male and female parts which snoopy doesnt have 9. Its one of my dreams to be in this show 10. Its just amazing 11. Snoopy is a kids show and so is Annie. Ive also heard we could be doing Alice in wonderland which is also Kind of a kids show. If we did a season with all kids shows people would get less excited for our shows and its good to have some variety. Ok so you probably didnt want all of that info but I thought I would give it to you anyway. I truly believe that almost maine is a great show and that it would be a perfect show for us to do. I know I said this already, but I think we need to have as many parts as possible because lend me a tenor was extremely small. I know its beneficial for the cast when the size is smaller, but when the cast size is so small, it prevents people from auditoning, and for the people who do audition and dont get cast it is extremely discouraging and most people dont audition again and we want people to join the club because its the best club there is to offer!!!:) Thanks and I hope you take this into consideration!:) Ok sorry Ill shut up now
