Hey Friends! Trinity and Samson here! Just wanted to Thank You all so much for all of the Shares and Support and Trying to help us find him a home. I am Happy to announce that he has found a home right here with us! Weve decided to keep him. When I first kept Animal Control from taking him and putting him to death and started working on rehabilitating him, he had multiple bite wounds all over his body, his tail was tucked and he wasnt trusting anyone else but seemed to like me and with a little work would follow me and eat out of my hand. He wasnt aggressive at all but It really seemed like he had been through a lot and after a few days showed signs of abuse. I raised my hand to reach for something and he acted like he thought I was going to hit him and he crawled under our porch bench. Very sad. I said no, no, no come here and brought him over to me and loved him up so he would definitely know he was going to be loved and wasnt going to be hurt here with us. Ive also recently noticed that all of his upper and lower teeth have been broken off. Because of the bites, broken teeth and signs of abuse a lady I met at the pet center suggested that he may have been a bait dog thats thrown in among vicious fighting dogs to train them. Honestly something so cruel had never crossed my mind but I believe that its a strong possibility. If so, hes very lucky and either escaped or someone dropped him off in our neighborhood because from what Ive read most bait dogs are usually killed. Hes come a long way in a short amount of time and is such a sweet and gentle friend! Hes so smart and does everything I ask him to do. Hes my Big Baby! Such a Dream Dog to have around! Taking on another Dog was a lot of extra responsibility that I wasnt sure I could handle with my husband being ill but Samson has brought so much joy to our lives already. Hes very loyal to me and to our home and doesnt really want anyone touching him but me. We have such a deep bond that would just be wrong to break so Samsons part of the Family!
