Hey. Good day with therapy but wore mama out. Most of the issues remain with the swelling and now she has a nagging cough thats different from the post - surgery cough we had. And when I say swelling, I mean 20 pounds difference from last Monday the 12 th to today. However , cardiologist doesnt seem that concerned. Said she didnt have as much damage as expected from the heart attack I have researched all her meds and several cause cough and several cause edema, especially when first started. I m hoping we can get this under before discharge. May get to go home in the next day or two though. I m going to be honest -- we are scared about coming home. 2 hours away from your cardiologist is a long way if you have any issues I know God is in control and I will not let worry get the best of me. We have come so far in a short week that these issues are just hiccups and they will get worked out too -lacy
