Hey Guys! Im going to try to start posting on here more frequently, mostly with our announcements and events that come up. I know this is a long post, but at least skim it so you know whats going on. First off, I hope that everyone is doing well this week and that those who are going through pledge week are making it through! Know that I am praying for you guys and am willing to help you in anyway that I can! I hope to see you all Sunday! Which brings me to the next thing... We are starting our new table groups this Sunday! We signed up for the groups near the end of last semester, but I know that it was a crazy time for everyone, so the sign up sheets will be back out this Sunday. The point of these groups isnt to limit your time spent with your friends or anything like that. We are trying to build a better community within your table group and that is hard to do when the people change every week. By being in these groups, youll be able to keep up with peoples lives and needs better. I know these may start our rough and awkward, but trust me when I say that they will be so worth it in the long run. Next, Dont forget that in a week from today, 1/28, we are starting our first Wednesday night college group! Park Hill is awesome enough to serve a meal every Wednesday night at 5 and they are only going to charge college students a dollar! Thats means much better food than the caf for only $1! You really cant beat that. We will then start around 6. This group is going be informal and we will decide what direction to take it during the first few meetings. If youre looking for a chill time to talk about the Bible, please join us! Everyone is welcome! Almost done. The Church has started a church-wide reading plan that they would love for us to be a part of. If you have the YouVersion app on your phone, we are going through the Reading Gods Story: One-Year Chronological Plan. We are currently on day 18, Genesis 41-43. Tomorrow(1/21), we will be on day 19, Genesis 44-46. Feel free to join in with us at any point. If you dont have an daily quiet time or are deciding what to do next, this is a great option. If you dont have YouVersion, the weekly plans are printed out and are in the back of the sanctuary each Sunday. Last thing, we are going to have another Super Bowl Party this year at Pastor Craigs house. I will get you more details later but the game in on February 1 at 5:30.
