Hey Guys! Its a great Initiative! I have few practical points to share on this matter: 1.The politics of things here are very complicated.To get our things to Gaza will be very difficult. Egypt has its own political issues within the new military rule, and Israel is the 4th strongest army in the world! So they will not go against this and carry the air upto Gaza, when they are not strong enough themselves. 2. Even if they do, Israeli checkpoints will not let it pass through so easily. Maybe they will keep the things to their hostage, 3. And it would be better not to chartart a plane to get the things, we can transfer the money to a reliable body working for this cause so they can buy the things, it will be cost effective and also we can get more things! 4. Does anybody have contacts in the Palestanian embassy in Bangladesh? I am working for Actionaid Arab regional Initiative for the last couple of years, and we are currently working in Palestine (ramala), Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon. And it is a constant struggle here, due to the multiple and diversified issues of each country! So lets be smart about the money we invest and make sure it reaches our cause! Let me know what you all think?
