Hey Guys can i just let some of you know (if you wasnt aware) the International Space Station (ISS) is due to pass over the UK on Christmas Eve giving children a great opportunity to spot Santas sleigh. If you find yourself with clear skies up above, conditions are likely to be perfect for seeing ISS in orbit around the Earth. The ISS will be visible at 5.22pm across the UK, but for different amounts of time and at slightly different angles. It can be easy to mistake the ISS for other aircraft, but the spacecraft has no flashing lights and moves a little faster. The best places will be from somewhere with little light pollution, like the countryside or a large local park. It is also best to go outside a few minutes early to let your eyes adjust to the dark.
