Hey Heartworm Project family! I just wanted to let you know that I am a HUGE fan of you and all that you do for animals! I’m a 7 year old Pit Bull/Labrador mix that rescued my mom (she thinks she rescued me, pfft!) two years ago after leaving a bad situation. I weighed about 30 pounds when she found me running down the highway and must have been wandering for weeks… I picked up a flea family and A LOT of dirt on my journey to her, and met some people weren’t that nice to me. To this day if I get in trouble I can’t control my bladder, but my mama says she loves me and that’s my previous “bastard” owner’s fault, whatever that means. I now weigh a fat 55 pounds and am so healthy and happy I could roll over and chase my tail! Mama seems to think there’s something wrong with me though… said something about heartworms. I don’t know what that means, but it doesn’t sound fun! She started a page dedicated to finding financial help for my heartworm treatments, and I would absolutely give you a booty wiggle wag if you would like and share my page with the world!
