Hey Hoosic Valley Class of 1984 out there - this was just brought to my attention. I have often tried to remember who was in our graduating class, but can remember the reunion at Browns brewery in Troy (think it was the Uncle Sams Brewery back then) a certain friend called Dave everything but his correct name. He was a good sport about the whole thing. Good guy. Glogowski, David MELROSE David James Glogowski, 47, of Mineral Springs Road, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Born in Troy, he is the son of Regina Duffy Glogowski of Melrose and the late Walter J. Glogowski. He was a graduate of Hoosic Valley Central High School and earned his bachelor of science in electronic engineering technology from SUNY College of Technology in Utica. He also earned an associates in electronic engineering technology from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy. David was employed for 24 years by JEOL USA, Inc., as a chief field engineer. He was a dedicated and meticulous employee. In his younger years, David had a great passion for playing guitar. He maintained his love of music throughout his life. He also enjoyed snow skiing, boating and water skiing with friends and family. His affection for taking care of his mom as she aged led him to return to Melrose from California. David was very attentive to her needs and took very good care of her and all aspects of her life. Beloved son of Regina, devoted brother of Michael (Elizabeth) Glogowski of Fair Oaks, Calif., and Stephen (Cheryl) Glogowski of Corinth; adored uncle of Justin Glogowski, Christopher (Melody) Easton, Madeline and Robert Glogowski. He is also survived by his many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at 9 a.m., at Transfiguration Parish (formerly Church of the Holy Trinity/ St. Johns Church), 17 S. Main St., in Schaghticoke. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the White-Sanvidge Funeral Home, 58 Leversee Road (Route 40 in Speigletown), Troy, on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Interment will be held in St. Johns Cemetery, Schaghticoke. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the White-Sanvidge Funeral Home, 58 Leversee Road (Route 40 in Speigletown) Troy. (518) 235-0952.
