...Hey, JLaw fans, aww. Oh shit, right, countdown time. THE TOP 25 HORROR MOVIES OF ALL TIME! 9. KILL LIST, UK 2011, Director, Ben Wheatley. Quoted widely in lists of Most Disturbing Films Ever, Movies Youll Never Watch More Than Once, etc., this British entry into the global horror market gives it up in spades with a story of a hit man on the come-up with a final assignment to complete a kill list for love and money. It turns disastrous, of course. The director, Ben Wheatley, surprisingly has a bunch of comedys under his belt so this macabre occult crime drama seems out of place at first glance, but it fits in just right. How else can you get the audience totally creeped out and friggin scared than have them involved, right? Totes. And, it delivers. There was some review that my search memory has since relegated to minor status that described the Kill List Face one has after watching this movie. Its true. If you want to get messed up after watching a movie, this is the one for you. Dont say I didnt warn you. THIS MOVIE starts off in typical English fashion not atypical of a Ken Loach drama, but then veers into something a perverted Kubrick, or less megalomaniacal Polanski would dream. Give it to the English for keeping a steady hand on the creep factor. It works. Think Reservoir Dogs meets Illuminati, minus the cuteness. Its brutal and, I guarantee, you will get the Kill List Face after watching it. Its too brutal. And, thats a good thing. 9 comes before 10. youtube/watch?v=aqkqF--v1tg
