Och något viktigt ni tycker jag borde lägga till, eller kanske ta bort? Knivsta Makerspace In 2013, the Public Library of Knivsta launched Swedens first public library makerspace. Supported by the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth and Sweden’s Innovation Agency, the makerspace wants to stimulate idea growth and enable more young people to realize their ideas. (Knivsta Makerspace, 2014) Vaggeryd Makerspace Vaggeryd Makespace, the Skaparbibblan (eng: Maker Library), is Swedens second public library makerspace. In partnership with Fenix high school and Vaggeryd Business Council and School of the Arts, the Vaggeryd Public Library aims at supporting learning experiences and inspiring children and youth to get engaged in science and technology. (Skaparbibblan, 2014) The vision of the makerspace matches the need for local industries and businesses to recruit skilled personnel. The project supports craftsmanship and design learning and aims at boosting the entrepreneurial spirit already present in the small town dominated by manufacturing and furniture industry.
