Hey Killers! OLD 37 IS FINISHED! We hereby declare that globally the entire month of October, from now until at least the release of the sequel, is WE DID IT!!! month. Weve partnered with both domestic and foreign sales agents to take the lead on selling the movie rights. Recently our domestic team held a private screening in Beverly Hills and is now talking with several distribution companies about the project. Our foreign sales reps are working full speed to create new art and a trailer to bring to the American Film Market (AFM) which is November 5th - 12th in Santa Monica. AFM is the most important annual film market in the United States and attracts many of the top global buyers. Following AFM, our reps will bring Old 37 to Berlin in February and Cannes in May. Between those 3 global markets we expect to hit every possible territory for sales. We will keep you posted on release dates! Meanwhile you should check out the band featured in the film, Sheppard. They recently became the #1 band in Australia with 2 quadruple platinum singles, a gold record and 7 Aria nominations (the AUS GRAMMY). Sheppard also recently signed with manager, Scooter Braun (Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande), got signed to Universal Republic and just played on ELLEN October 22nd. They have 20 million streams on Spotify putting them in the top 50 most played artists. They perform in the movie and we use 4 of their songs on the soundtrack. Sheppard has been a friend of Old 37 since early on. They are super talented and genuinely nice, cool people. We love watching their star rise! :) More soon!
