Hey Left Coast Friends, Hugh Laurie is doing a West Coast tour. Yes, I know seeing Dr. Gregory House do Blues and New Orleans Jazz puts a question mark on your face, but I HAVE to tell you that I consider his first album in this genre, Let Them Talk, to be THE best album produced in my lifetime... and, believe it or not, the concert experience is even BETTER. He is not only a formidable musician himself, hes a charismatic anchor of a STELLAR group of musicians that TEAR DOWN any house they play. When Sarah and I saw it in New York the audience REQUIRED THREE encores totaling SIX different numbers... and it still wasnt enough to satisfy the palpable appreciation that the audience had for this astounding celebration of music. Ill be seeing the show in LA, Riverside, AND San Diego, but they have performances in Vancouver (Matt Ostrow), Seattle (Hillary Grupp), Portland, San Fran Emily Wood). GET TICKETS. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
