Hey! Many of you have asked about my mom and why she is in rehab. Here is the short version. It has been a really difficult summer for her. She has been in and out of the hospital and a week long stay in the hospital rehab. In June, she was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease. It has really taken a toll on her body. In general, she is very weak. This last two weeks has been one of the hardest for me to figure out what is best for her to gain her strength and let her return to our home. After much discussion, sleepless days a nights, we decided that she would be best in a short term rehab facility where they can work with her daily and she can be safe (no more falling!). Our hope and prayer is that she will regain enough strength to come back home soon. We appreciate all of your prayers!
