Hey Michiganders.. this is a really important election. What do you want our state to look like? The answer depends at least in part on who is chosen November 4th. If theres any possible chance you might not be able to vote on Election Day, PLEASE get your absentee ballot now and vote before you go. >> https://miabsentee/ I already voted, because theres a very real chance Ill be called off to elections in other states. I voted because I want my family that is retired or retiring to be able to stay here, rather than Snyders pension taxes to drive them to a cheaper state. I want my friends in committed relationships to be able to marry each other and have the protections of the law, regardless of Schuettes personal feelings in the matter. I want my female friends (including myself) to feel like they are respected here, and not have to jump through hopes to protect their bodies like having to buy GOP rape insurance in case the awful happens. I want to know that were doing everything to protect the environment here, rather selling off to the highest bidder and our water becoming undrinkable/having to live off of bottled water from the store (like those in N Ohio or extreme S Michigan). I want for our elections to be meaningful again, rather than the people voting and the GOP legislature doing end-runs around anything approved by the citizens. I want to know were strengthening our educational system, rather than eating our seed corn and effectively selling off our future. Just my two cents.
