Hey Mitch Magee...or any other plumbing people out there. The former fix-it genius of the home installed a self piercing saddle valve underneath the bathroom sink for supply line to the swamp cooler. Now the only way to shut off the water to winterise the cooler is to shut off water to the whole house. Obviously, this does not work! I would like a ball (or other recommended valve) in its place. Can you all please give me some advice? An estimate to do the job? Im good with pvc pipe, copper is an animal I havent had to deal with in my limited plumbing experience. Thanks!
