Hey, My firends and I, all new students, are going to create a new student organization in our university: Jonkoping StoryTelling Club. I was talking to Student Union, and they totally support the iniciative. If you are intereted, lets meet and discuss it on Wednesday, 03 Sep at 11:10 at room B3040 (JIBS building, 3rd floor) or send me message. Students with all different ideas are very welcome! We are still at the first stage of creation the concept, so each opinion is valuable. Concept: Once per week, e.g. each Tuesday students gather to listen to invited Guest Speaker. Guest Speaker presents his story to students. Atmosphere of Club is less formal than lectures during classes. Club is more about story telling, sharing experience, inspiring talking, personal stories. Who can participate: Students of all schools could participate. Who is a Speaker: Speaker could be somebody who has expertise in some field, e.g. entrepreneurship, politics, social activism, media, NGO, travelling. It also could be an international student, who would like to share knowledge about his country. Students, professors and staff are very welcome to become Speakers. How to find a Guest Speaker: Networking Visitors are encouraged to come with their ideas, whom do they want to listen to next time.
