Hey OCC Volunteers: It is parade season! Below are the 3 parades we have entered for this summer and we NEED YOU to be a part of the PARADE! 1. South Jordan Country Fest; Saturday, June 15th @ 8am - meeting place is the Salt Lake Equestrian Park 2200 W 10900 S South Jordan - Look for the OCC Float. 2. West Valley City Westfest, Saturday, June 22nd @ 8am - meeting place is the ShopKo parking lot located at 4800 W and 3500 S - Look for the OCC Float. 3. Midvale City Harvest Days, Saturday, August 10th @ 9am - meeting place is at Copperview Elementary School located at 8449 S Monroe Street (150 W) - Look for the OCC Float. All parade participants will need to wear GOOD walking shoes and be ready to walk the parade route (usually 1 to 2 miles). We will be passing out the OCC brochures to those along the route. We will provide you with an OCC parade shirt and or Shoe Box Costume to wear. We also bring a large ice chest full of bottled water. Sunscreen is a must.
