Hey Peeps! For those of you who trial in arenas with a DIRT surface: how soft/deep is too soft/deep and how hard is too hard? Background is we have 5-8 local trials a year at this one facility and lately theyve taken to deep fluffing so that poor Zinger (and her handler, lol) are literally floundering in 2+ inches. We both lose impulsion and get really sore. Lately Ive just let Zing set her own pace, especially in the weaves and that pace is literally walking. Ugh. Thinking to simply not enter that location any more. Please discuss and let me know your thoughts?
