Hey People! Well the weekend is over and its back to the old grind for all you working stiffs....soooo sorry! My weekend was really good...Friday night me and hubby went to see the movie Monument Men. Really good movie, and if you havent seen it or heard about it, it stars George Clooney ,Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman, Cate Blanchett, Jean Dujardin, Bob Balaban and Hugh Bonneville. Might check it out! Then last night we went to the Gordon Lightfoot concert! Loved it! Even though he is 75 now and his voice isnt nearly as strong as it was back in the days, he still puts on a good show. Sometimes you could hear the voice that made him so popular, but even if it isnt what you remember, he is still Gordon Lightfoot and the songs are just as moving as they were when they were new and were being played all over the world. He can be proud. Today we just did our regular stuff...really nothing special, but the day was great and the weather was in the 70s! Suppposed to be nice tomorrow too I believe...heard it is still cold up there in the panhandle...I am sooooooo sorry! Tell me, do I sound sincere? I have been practicing...Ray says I dont but i dare to differ with him. Think I will get out tomorrow and do some stuff outside...even if it is just sitting on the porch, watching the birds and gazing at the mountains. Ya know, the pigeons around here are obnoxious little snits....we put out the food for the birds and there is a snitch that keeps watch for the pigeons and as soon as it sees us putting the food out it calls the other pigeons and they all swarm in and eat all the feed I scattered on the ground in less than 20 minutes. I am hoping that when we move to the other place there wont be any pigeons around since it will be further out in the desert. Well, think I will post some pics of little Skylar I took last weekend while I was up there...he is such a cutie patootie.... and one more of the fog around the Guadalupes. Yall have a great week and hang in there, only 5 days till the weekend!!!
